2010 Rate Schedule
Board $475 at Sequel Farm, (5 days or less - $25 a day)
- Daily turn–out as needed
- Boots/turn out sheets, blanketing, feet cleaned and grooming
- Grain feed daily—owner provides
- Handling for shoer or vet
- Stall cleaning 7 days a week
Training $400, (based on 3 week month)
- Includes minimum 13 lessons/rides per month
Lessons or Rides $55
- Individual lessons or rides: length of lesson/ride dependent on ability, age, rate of progress of horse or rider; they are not run by the clock.
Miscellaneous Charges
- Hauling: $100 minimum ($1 per mile round trip after 100mi)
- Body Clipping: full clip $150 (includes bath); trace clip $75
- Trims/mane pull: $35
Horse Shows
- Schooling:
- $60 — multi day show
- $75 — 1 day show
- Separate schooling day is counted as 1 more day.
- Day Care: $20 a day (includes only feeding and stall cleaning)
- Tack/Groom Stalls: Split up between all horses
- Feed/Bedding: Split up between all horses
- Grooming $60 a day (includes lunging, bath, tacking-up, tack cleaning)
- braiding $30 per mane per day
- Travel Expenses/rv hookups/motel: Split up between all horses
Commissions
- Sales:
- $10,000 or under: 20%
- Over $10,000: 15%
- Purchase:
- $10,000 or under: $55 an hour includes travel time
- $10,000 to $20,000: 20%
- $20,000 and over: 15%
Rehab
- $28 a day or $800 a month ( extra charge if horse requires around the clock treatment) - covers board and care or treatment as needed - owner provides all meds and supplies
